"In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful."

If any do deeds of righteousness, be they male or female, and have faith, they will enter Paradise and not the least injustice will be done to them. [Quran 4:124]

God commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition. [Quran 16:90]

[79.27] Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it.

[79.28] He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state.

[79.29] And He made dark its night and brought out its light.

[79.30] And the earth, He expanded it after that.

[79.31] He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage.

[79.32] And the mountains, He made them firm,

[79.33] A provision for you and for your cattle.

[55.5] The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed;

[13.2] Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you see, and He is firm in power and He made the sun and the moon subservient (to you); each one pursues its course to an appointed time; He regulates the affair, making clear the signs that you may be certain of meeting your Lord.

[13.3] And He it is Who spread the earth and made in it firm mountains and rivers, and of all fruits He has made in it two kinds; He makes the night cover the day; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.

[13.4] And in the earth there are tracts side by side and gardens of grapes and corn and palm trees having one root and (others) having distinct roots-- they are watered with one water, and We make some of them excel others in fruit; most surely there are signs in this for a people who understand.

Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the Night and the Day; in the sailing of the ships through the Ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which God sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth; - (here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise. [Quran 2:164]

[16:13] And (He created) for you on earth of various colors. This is a (sufficient) proof for people who take heed.

[16:14] And He committed the sea to serve you; you eat from it tender meat, and extract jewelry which you wear. And you see the ships roaming it for your commercial benefits, as you seek His bounties, that you may be appreciative.

[16:15] And He placed stabilizers (mountains) on earth, lest it tumbles with you, as well as rivers and roads, that you may be guided.

[16:16] And landmarks, as well as the stars; to be used for navigation.

[15:10] We have sent (messengers) before you to the communities in the past.

[15:11] Every time a messenger went to them, they ridiculed him.

[15:12] We thus control the minds of the guilty.

[15:13] Consequently, they cannot believe in him. This has been the system since the past generations.

[15:14] Even if we opened for them a gate into the sky, through which they climb;

[15:15] they will say, "Our eyes have been deceived. We have been bewitched."

[15:16] We placed galaxies in the sky, and adorned it for the beholders.

[15:17] And we guarded it against every rejected devil.

[15:18] If any of them sneaks around to listen, a mighty projectile will chase him back.

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of God. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. [Quran 59:21]

011.040 When at last Our decree was fulfilled, water gushed forth from the Oven (in Noah's house). We told him to carry in the Ark a pair (male and female) from every species, his family - except those who were destined to perish - and the believers. No one believed in him, except a few.

002:266 Does any of you wish that he should have a garden with date-palms and vines and streams flowing underneath, and all kinds of fruit, while he is stricken with old age, and his children are not strong (enough to look after themselves)- that it should be caught in a whirlwind, with fire therein, and be burnt up? Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His) Signs; that ye may consider.

54:34 We sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut's household: them We delivered by early Dawn,-

030.022 And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colours: verily in that are Signs for those who know.

032.002 (This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds.

17.1 Glory to (God) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).

017.036 And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).

057.018 For those who give in Charity, men and women, and loan to God a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward.

057.019 And those who believe in God and His apostles- they are the Sincere (lovers of Truth), and the witnesses (who testify), in the eyes of their Lord: They shall have their Reward and their Light. But those who reject God and deny Our Signs,- they are the Companions of Hell-Fire.

057.020 Know ye (all), that the life of this world is but play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting and multiplying, (in rivalry) among yourselves, riches and children. Here is a similitude: How rain and the growth which it brings forth, delight (the hearts of) the tillers; soon it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. But in the Hereafter is a Penalty severe (for the devotees of wrong). And Forgiveness from God and (His) Good Pleasure (for the devotees of God). And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception?

057.021 Be ye foremost (in seeking) Forgiveness from your Lord, and a Garden (of Bliss), the width whereof is as the width of heaven and earth, prepared for those who believe in God and His apostles: that is the Grace of God, which He bestows on whom He pleases: and God is the Lord of Grace abounding.

44.5 A command from Us; surely We are the senders (of apostles),

44.6 A mercy from your Lord, surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing,

44.7 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure.

44.8 There is no god but He; He gives life and causes death, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore.

44.9 Nay, they are in doubt, they sport.

44.10 Therefore keep waiting for the day when the heaven shall bring an evident smoke,

44.11 That shall overtake men; this is a painful punishment.

44.12 Our Lord! remove from us the punishment; surely we are believers.

44.13 How shall they be reminded, and there came to them an Apostle making clear (the truth),

44.14 Yet they turned their backs on him and said: One taught (by others), a madman.

44.15 Surely We will remove the punishment a little, (but) you will surely return (to evil).

44.16 One day We shall seize you with a mighty onslaught: We will indeed (then) exact Retribution!

047.018 Do they then only wait for the Hour-- that it should come on them of a sudden? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition?

047.019 Know, therefore, that there is no god but God, and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and for the men and women who believe: for God knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes.

011.123 To God do belong the unseen (secrets) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him goeth back every affair (for decision): then worship Him, and put thy trust in Him: and thy Lord is not unmindful of aught that ye do.

25:5 And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening."

25:6 Say: "The (Qur'an) was sent down by Him who knows the mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth: verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

[2:255] GOD: there is no other god besides Him, the Living, the Eternal.

Never a moment of unawareness or slumber overtakes Him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens

and everything on earth. Who could intercede with Him, except in accordance with His will?

He knows their past, and their future. No one attains any knowledge, except as He wills.

His dominion encompasses the heavens and the earth, and ruling them never burdens Him.

He is the Most High, the Great.

2:256 Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in God hath grasped the most trustworthy hand- hold, that never breaks. And God heareth and knoweth all things.

105.1 Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the possessors of the elephant?

105.2 Did He not cause their war to end in confusion,

105.3 And send down (to prey) upon them birds in flocks,

105.4 Casting against them stones of baked clay,

105.5 So He rendered them like straw eaten up?

[34.10] And certainly We gave to Daud excellence from Us: O mountains! sing praises with him, and the birds; and We made the iron pliant to him,

[34.11] Saying: Make ample (coats of mail), and assign a time to the making of coats of mail and do good; surely I am Seeing what you do.

[34.12] And (We made) the wind (subservient) to Sulaiman, which made a month's journey in the morning and a month's journey m the evening, and We made a fountain of molten copper to flow out for him, and of the jinn there were those who worked before him by the command of his Lord; and whoever turned aside from Our command from among them, We made him taste of the punishment of burning.

Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill. Then will the True Promise draw nigh (of fulfilment). Then behold! The eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly Stare in horror: "Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay we truly did wrong!" (Q. 21:96-97; Yusuf Ali's translation)

Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than God, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy. (Q. 4:82)

018.083 They ask thee concerning Zul-qarnain. Say, "I will rehearse to you something of his story."

018.084 Verily We established his power on earth, and We gave him the ways and the means to all ends.

018.085 One (such) way he followed,

018.086 Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."

018.090 Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had provided no covering protection against the sun.

018.096 "Bring me blocks of iron." At length, when he had filled up the space between the two steep mountain-sides, He said, "Blow (with your bellows)" Then, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour over it, molten lead."

018.097 Thus were they made powerless to scale it or to dig through it.

018.098 He said: "This is a mercy from my Lord: But when the promise of my Lord comes to pass, He will make it into dust; and the promise of my Lord is true."

018.099 On that day We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another: the trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them all together.

018.100 And We shall present Hell that day for Unbelievers to see, all spread out,-

018.017 Thou wouldst have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave, and when it set, turning away from them to the left, while they lay in the open space in the midst of the Cave. Such are among the Signs of God: He whom God, guides is rightly guided; but he whom God leaves to stray,- for him wilt thou find no protector to lead him to the Right Way.

018.022 (Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them; (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth,- doubtfully guessing at the unknown; (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth. Say thou: "My Lord knoweth best their number; It is but few that know their (real case)." Enter not, therefore, into controversies concerning them, except on a matter that is clear, nor consult any of them about (the affair of) the Sleepers.

50:1 Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art God's Apostle).

50:2 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing!

50:3 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)."

50:4 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account).

50:5 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state.

50:6 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it?

50:7 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)-

50:8 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to God).

50:9 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests;

50:10 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;-

50:11 As sustenance for (God's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection.

012.004 Behold! Yusuf said to his father: "O my father! I did see eleven stars and the sun and the moon: I saw them prostrate themselves to me!"

002.147 The Truth is from thy Lord; so be not at all in doubt.

001.001 In the name of God, Most Gracious,

Most Merciful.

001.002 Praise be to God, the Cherisher and

Sustainer of the Worlds;

001.003 Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

001.004 Master of the Day of Judgment.

001.005 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we

seek.

001.006 Show us the straight way,

001.007 The way of those on whom Thou hast

bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is

not wrath, and who go not astray.

[53:0] In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

[53:1] As the stars fell away.*

[53:2] Your friend (Muhammad) was not astray, nor was he deceived.

[53:3] Nor was he speaking out of a personal desire.

[53:4] It was divine inspiration.

[53:5] Dictated by the Most Powerful.

[53:6] Possessor of all authority. From His highest height.

[53:7] At the highest horizon.

[53:8] He drew nearer by moving down.

[53:9] Until He became as close as possible.

[53:10] He then revealed to His servant what was to be revealed.

[53:11] The mind never made up what it saw.

[53:12] Are you doubting what he saw?

[53:13] He saw him in another descent.

[53:14] At the ultimate point.

[53:15] Where the eternal Paradise is located.

[53:16] The whole place was overwhelmed.

[53:17] The eyes did not waver, nor go blind.

[53:18] He saw great signs of his Lord.

038.027 Not without purpose did We create heaven and earth and all between! that were the thought of Unbelievers! but woe to the Unbelievers because of the Fire (of Hell)!

042.029 And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills.

[30.19] He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and gives life to the earth after its death, and thus shall you be brought forth.

[20.53] Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs.

[6.99] And He it is Who sends down water from the cloud, then We bring forth with it buds of all (plants), then We bring forth from it green (foliage) from which We produce grain piled up (in the ear); and of the palm-tree, of the sheaths of it, come forth clusters (of dates) within reach, and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates, alike and unlike; behold the fruit of it when it yields the fruit and the ripening of it; most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe.

[30.48] Allah is he Who sends forth the winds so they raise a cloud, then He spreads it forth in the sky as He pleases, and He breaks it up so that you see the rain coming forth from inside it; then when He causes it to fall upon whom He pleases of His servants, lo! they are joyful

[24.43] Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down of the clouds that are (like) mountains wherein is hail, afflicting therewith whom He pleases and turning it away from whom He pleases; the flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight.

[2.19] Or like abundant rain from the cloud in which is utter darkness and thunder and lightning; they put their fingers into their ears because of the thunder peal, for fear of death, and Allah encompasses the unbelievers.

[6.37] And they say: Why has not a sign been sent down to him from his Lord? Say: Surely Allah is able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know.

[41.53] We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and in their own souls, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?

[29.41] The parable of those who take guardians besides Allah is as the parable of the spider that makes for itself a house; and most surely the frailest of the houses is the spider's house did they but know.

[13.7] And those who disbelieve say: Why has not a sign been sent down upon him from his Lord? You are only a warner and (there is) a guide for every people.

010.005 He it is Who appointed the sun a splendour and the moon a light, and measured for her stages, that ye might know the number of the years, and the reckoning. Allah created not (all) that save in truth. He detaileth the revelations for people who have knowledge.

071.015 "'See ye not how God has created the seven heavens one above another,

071.016 "'And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?

[29.14] And certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he remained among them a thousand years save fifty years. And the deluge overtook them, while they were unjust.

025.061 Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light;

25.62 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful.

25.63 And the servants of the Beneficent God are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace.

25.64 And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing.

25.65 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting

25.66 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay.

036.040 It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).

[86.1] I swear by the heaven and the comer by night;

[86.2] And what will make you know what the comer by night is?

[86.3] The star of piercing brightness;

[86.4] There is not a soul but over it is a keeper.

[86.5] So let man consider of what he is created:

[86.6] He is created of water pouring forth,

[86.7] Coming from between the back and the ribs.

[91.1] I swear by the sun and its brilliance,

[91.2] And the moon when it follows the sun,

[91.3] And the day when it shows it,

[91.4] And the night when it draws a veil over it,

[91.5] By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure;

[91.6] And the earth and Him Who extended it,

[91.7] And the soul and Him Who made it perfect,

[91.8] Then He inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it;

[91.9] He will indeed be successful who purifies it,

[91.10] And he will indeed fail who corrupts it.

[91.11] Samood gave the lie (to the truth) in their inordinacy,

[91.12] When the most unfortunate of them broke forth with

[91.13] So Allah's apostle said to them (Leave alone) Allah's she-camel, and (give) her (to) drink.

[91.14] But they called him a liar and slaughtered her, therefore their Lord crushed them for their sin and levelled them (with the ground).

[91.15] And He fears not its consequence.

[6.59] And with Him are the keys of the unseen treasures-- none knows them but He; and He knows what is in the land and the sea, and there falls not a leaf but He knows it, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything green nor dry but (it is all) in a clear book.

040.057 Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not.

011.007 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct.

055.029 Of Him seeks (its need) every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in (new) Splendour doth He (shine)!

065.012 God is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number. Through the midst of them (all) descends His Command: that ye may know that God has power over all things, and that God comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge.

24:35 God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! God doth guide whom He will to His Light: God doth set forth Parables for men: and God doth know all things.

55:14 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery,

55:15 And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke:

55:16 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

55:17 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests:

70:39 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know!

70:40 Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly-

70:41 Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan).

017.044 The seven heavens and the earth, and all beings therein, declare His glory: there is not a thing but celebrates His praise; And yet ye understand not how they declare His glory! Verily He is Oft-Forbear, Most Forgiving!

095.004 We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,

095.005 Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-

095.006 Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.

095.007 Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)?

095.008 Is not God the wisest of judges?

002.074 Thenceforth were your hearts hardened: They became like a rock and even worse in hardness. For among rocks there are some from which rivers gush forth; others there are which when split asunder send forth water; and others which sink for fear of God. And God is not unmindful of what ye do.

056.077 That this is indeed a Qur'an Most Honourable,

056.078 In Book well-guarded,

056.079 Which none shall touch but those who are clean:

056.080 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.

074.040 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other,

074.041 And (ask) of the Sinners:

074.042 "What led you into Hell Fire?"

074.043 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed;

074.044 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent;

074.045 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers;

074.046 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment,

074.047 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain."

014.024 Seest thou not how God sets forth a parable? - A goodly word like a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the heavens,- of its Lord. So God sets forth parables for men, in order that they may receive admonition.

039.067 No just estimate have they made of God, such as is due to Him: On the Day of Judgment the whole of the earth will be but His handful, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand: Glory to Him! High is He above the Partners they attribute to Him!

031.020 Do ye not see that God has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth, and has made his bounties flow to you in exceeding measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about God, without knowledge and without guidance, and without a Book to enlighten them!

027.017 And before Sulaiman were marshalled his hosts,- of Jinns and men and birds, and they were all kept in order and ranks.

027.018 At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Sulaiman and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it."

027.019 So he smiled, amused at her speech; and he said: "O my Lord! so order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants."

027.020 And he took a muster of the Birds; and he said: "Why is it I see not the Hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?

027.021 "I will certainly punish him with a severe penalty, or execute him, unless he bring me a clear reason (for absence)."

027.022 But the Hoopoe tarried not far: he (came up and) said: "I have compassed (territory) which thou hast not compassed, and I have come to thee from Saba with tidings true.

027.023 "I found (there) a woman ruling over them and provided with every requisite; and she has a magnificent throne.

027.024 "I found her and her people worshipping the sun besides God: Satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path,- so they receive no guidance,-

027.025 "(Kept them away from the Path), that they should not worship God, Who brings to light what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what ye hide and what ye reveal.

027.026 "God!- there is no god but He!- Lord of the Throne Supreme!"

027.027 (Sulaiman) said: "Soon shall we see whether thou hast told the truth or lied!

027.028 "Go thou, with this letter of mine, and deliver it to them: then draw back from them, and (wait to) see what answer they return"...

027.029 (The queen) said: "Ye chiefs! here is delivered to me - a letter worthy of respect.

027.030 "It is from Sulaiman, and is (as follows): 'In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful:

027.031 "'Be ye not arrogant against me, but come to me in submission (to the true Religion).'"

027.032 She said: "Ye chiefs! advise me in (this) my affair: no affair have I decided except in your presence."

027.033 They said: "We are endued with strength, and given to vehement war: but the command is with thee; so consider what thou wilt command."

027.034 She said: "Kings, when they enter a country, despoil it, and make the noblest of its people its meanest thus do they behave.

027.035 "But I am going to send him a present, and (wait) to see with what (answer) return (my) ambassadors."

027.036 Now when (the embassy) came to Sulaiman, he said: "Will ye give me abundance in wealth? But that which God has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay it is ye who rejoice in your gift!

027.037 "Go back to them, and be sure we shall come to them with such hosts as they will never be able to meet: We shall expel them from there in disgrace, and they will feel humbled (indeed)."

027.038 He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

027.039 Said an 'Ifrit, of the Jinns: "I will bring it to thee before thou rise from thy council: indeed I have full strength for the purpose, and may be trusted."

027.040 Said one who had knowledge of the Book: "I will bring it to thee within the twinkling of an eye!" Then when (Sulaiman) saw it placed firmly before him, he said: "This is by the Grace of my Lord!- to test me whether I am grateful or ungrateful! and if any is grateful, truly his gratitude is (a gain) for his own soul; but if any is ungrateful, truly my Lord is Free of all Needs, Supreme in Honour !"

027.041 He said: "Transform her throne out of all recognition by her: let us see whether she is guided (to the truth) or is one of those who receive no guidance."

018.109 Say: "If the ocean were ink (wherewith to write out) the words of my Lord, sooner would the ocean be exhausted than would the words of my Lord, even if we added another ocean like it, for its aid."

025.045 Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord?- How He doth prolong the shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! then do We make the sun its guide;

025.046 Then We draw it in towards Ourselves,- a contraction by easy stages.

036.081 "Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)!

036.082 Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is!

036.083 So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back.

[56.68] Have you considered the water which you drink?

[56.69] Is it you that send it down from the clouds, or are We the senders?

[56.70] If We pleased, We would have made it salty; why do you not then give thanks?

[56.71] Have you considered the fire which you strike?

[56.72] Is it you that produce the trees for it, or are We the producers?

[56.73] We have made it a reminder and an advantage for the wayfarers of the desert.

[56.74] Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.

[56.75] But nay! I swear by the falling of stars;

[56.76] And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew;

[56.77] Most surely it is an honored Quran,

[56.78] In a book that is protected

[56.79] None shall touch it save the purified ones.

[56.80] A revelation by the Lord of the worlds.

031.027 And if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the words of God be exhausted (in the writing): for God is Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom.

014.048 One day the earth will be changed to a different earth, and so will be the heavens, and (men) will be marshalled forth, before God, the One, the Irresistible;

014.049 And thou wilt see the sinners that day bound together in fetters;-

014.050 Their garments of liquid pitch, and their faces covered with Fire;

014.051 That God may requite each soul according to its deserts; and verily God is swift in calling to account.

014.052 Here is a Message for mankind: Let them take warning therefrom, and let them know that He is (no other than) One God: let men of understanding take heed.

[20:15] "The Hour (end of the world) is surely coming; I will keep it almost hidden, for each soul must be paid for its works.

021.030 Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

051.047 With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of space.

003.191 Men who celebrate the praises of God, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.

040.060 And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!"

067.029 Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error."

067.030 Say: "See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?"

069.018 That Day shall ye be brought to Judgment: not an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden.

069.019 Then he that will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Ah here! Read ye my Record!

069.020 "I did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me!"

069.021 And he will be in a life of Bliss,

069.022 In a Garden on high,

069.023 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near.

069.024 "Eat ye and drink ye, with full satisfaction; because of the (good) that ye sent before you, in the days that are gone!"

069.025 And he that will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "Ah! Would that my Record had not been given to me!

069.026 "And that I had never realised how my account (stood)!

069.027 "Ah! Would that (Death) had made an end of me!

069.028 "Of no profit to me has been my wealth!

069.029 "My power has perished from me!"...

069.030 (The stern command will say): "Seize ye him, and bind ye him,

069.031 "And burn ye him in the Blazing Fire.

069.032 "Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits!

069.033 "This was he that would not believe in God Most High.

069.034 "And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent!

069.035 "So no friend hath he here this Day.

069.036 "Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds,

069.037 "Which none do eat but those in sin."

069.038 So I do call to witness what ye see,

069.039 And what ye see not,

069.040 That this is verily the word of an honoured apostle;

069.041 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe!

069.042 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive.

069.043 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds.

054.049 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure.

054.050 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye.

054.051 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition?

054.052 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds):

054.053 Every matter, small and great, is on record.

054.054 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers,

054.055 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent.

018.107 As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise,

018.108 Wherein they shall dwell (for aye): no change will they wish for from them.

018.109 Say: "If the ocean were ink (wherewith to write out) the words of my Lord, sooner would the ocean be exhausted than would the words of my Lord, even if we added another ocean like it, for its aid."

018.110 Say: "I am but a man like yourselves, (but) the inspiration has come to me, that your God is one God: whoever expects to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness, and, in the worship of his Lord, admit no one as partner.

057.011 Who is he that will Loan to God a beautiful loan? for (God) will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal Reward.

057.012 One Day shalt thou see the believing men and the believing women- how their Light runs forward before them and by their right hands: (their greeting will be): "Good News for you this Day! Gardens beneath which flow rivers! to dwell therein for aye! This is indeed the highest Achievement!"

003.133 Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,-

[26:83] "My Lord, grant me wisdom, and include me with the righteous.

[26:84] "Let the example I set for the future generations be a good one.

[26:85] "Make me one of the inheritors of the blissful Paradise.

Sadaqa Allah al-Adhim!

"Almighty God has spoken the Truth!"
